Cloth Simulation – Maya plug-in

This project was about creating a Maya Node doing the cloth simulation, a maya command to set up the cloth, and a MEL interface to set the details of the simulation.

  • Different solvers (Euler, Midpoint, RK4, Verlet)
  • Mass-spring network or contraints
  • Collision with basic primitives
  • Cloth generated for arbitrary meshes
  • Animated wind force, gravity, constants, damp-spring, viscous drag
